September 27, 2010. That’s when QuickBooks 2011 will be released, according to an announcement made by Intuit yesterday. I first heard about it in the article, “Intuit Schedules Release Date for QuickBooks 2011 Software.”
New QuickBooks Features
The new QuickBooks version offers more features to make the accounting software easier to navigate.
One of the new features is a search function that allows managers to type in keywords to find customers, reports and other specific information. That’s a great time saver.
Another feature is the Customer Snapshot, which shows what products a customer has purchased in the past, how long they took to pay for their products and if they still owe anything.
QuickBooks + Fishbowl
Many small-business owners use QuickBooks because it lets them keep all of their financial information in one place. A rising number of them are combining QuickBooks with Fishbowl’s inventory management software to simplify both the accounting and inventory control processes.
With QuickBooks and Fishbowl, you can scan products in and out of your warehouses and simultaneously update your accounting records. That way you know how much money you have to work with and also how much inventory you have on hand.
Knowledge is power, and it can be a competitive advantage. If you’re a manufacturer, Fishbowl’s QuickBooks manufacturing software offers many advantages, such as more efficiency and potential cost savings.
