3 QuickBooks Blogs You Should Check Out

Blogging shout-out, Fishbowl BlogSometimes it feels like a big job to maintain a fun, dynamic blog about QuickBooks and manufacturing inventory software. Luckily, I’ve discovered several other bloggers who are doing a great job on their own QuickBooks-focused blogs.

I’d like to give a shout-out to them right now so that, in addition to visiting the Fishbowl Blog for useful tips, you can also check them out. They’re listed in alphabetical order:

Better Bottom Line. This is the most-recent QuickBooks Blog I found. Author Scott Gregory offers free giveaways (including guides and software) and answers questions about QuickBooks software issues. The Better Bottom Line Blog has been online since June 2008, so you can bet it has plenty of answers for several QuickBooks versions.

QuickBooks and Beyond. Charlie Russell, founder of CCRSoftware, also founded the Practical QuickBooks Blog back in March 2008. He’s been blogging like crazy this month about the latest QuickBooks version’s new features as we approach the QuickBooks 2011 release date. Russell is like the Tortoise from “The Tortoise and the Hare.” He usually blogs at a slow and steady pace, 4-6 times a month, but he makes those times count.

QuickBooks and Your Business. This blog, which is run by QuickBooksUsers.com owner Shannon Tucker, is the newest of the three blogs. It was started in January 2010. But he’s making up for lost time, sometimes blogging more than a dozen times in one month. Tucker compiles many of his posts and sends them out in a popular email newsletter, as well.

If you visit these three blogs regularly you should quickly become an expert on QuickBooks. Don’t forget to keep coming back to the Fishbowl Blog, as well. I’ll keep looking for other great resources to share with QuickBooks users.

    Hi Quickbooks,

I work with a company that provides industrial racking. I was wondering how it would be possible to get a link from your excellent blog?

    Kind regards,

    • Dear James,

Thank you for asking. I would be happy to accept a guest blog post from you about warehouse management or some other topic that is applicable to QuickBooks and/or inventory management. That’s probably the best way to get a link on the QuickBooks Manufacturing Blog. Feel free to email me at rob@inventorysystemsoftware.com to propose a blog post or something similar. Have a great day!
